They are seeking a Textile Developer II to support the Global Sports Apparel team in developing materials aligned with sustainability goals and collaborating with various teams to commercialize these materials.

Responsibilities

Explore textile and print/pattern ideas from trends to technological advancements
Collaborate with product creation teams, vendors, and manufacturing to commercialize materials
Drive seasonal material development from concept to production, including testing and tracking
Partner with cross-functional teams like Innovation, Design, Product Merchandising, Sourcing, and Manufacturing
Ensure materials perform effectively in garment form

Required

Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Apparel, or equivalent relevant education and training
Minimum 1 year experience in apparel product creation or similar industry role
Technical materials knowledge, including yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques
Textile or material development background; experience on cross-functional teams
Knowledge of knits, wovens, ribs, and print
Local candidates only; previous company experience highly preferred

Preferred

Experience partnering with vendors to develop and test materials from inception to production
Strong verbal/written communication and digital literacy (Microsoft Office, Product Data Management)
Ability to manage multiple projects across seasons with competing deadlines
Experience with performance materials and industry trends
Willingness to travel up to 10%
