Sr. Electrical Engineer, Amazon Leo

Responsibilities
Design digital and analog circuits in collaboration with various teams
Design for high-speed serial links that interface to FPGA and/or SoC circuitry
Perform ECAD schematic capture of circuit designs
Lead design reviews of hardware systems; such as architecture, schematic, PCB layout reviews
Develop bring-up test plans, as well as leading qualification and production test plan development
Lead debug efforts for avionics and power subsystems
Lead requirement derivation and traceability for hardware subsystems
Support subsystem production ramp and larger system integration
Be a technical leader/role model; instilling best practices across the full development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hardware engineering experience
5+ years of experience in using ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout review
5+ years of experience board bring up and debugging in lab environment
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Experience with the project management of technical projects
