Responsibilities
Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions from initial structuring through closing
Advise public companies on disclosure and compliance matters
Assist in securities offerings and related corporate governance matters
Provide counsel to clients on general business and regulatory issues, including those impacting the financial services sector
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and corporate documents
Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice areas to deliver high-quality service
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
Must be licensed to practice in Texas (required)
2–4 years of experience in M&A, securities, and general business transactions
Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with banking and financial services clients is desirable but not required
