Flight Software Research Intern
Mclaurin Aerospace is seeking qualified US citizen students for part-time internship positions focused on flight software development for a research launch vehicle program. The role involves supporting analysis tasks and requires a commitment of at least 40 hours per month, with mentorship to align tasks with academic goals.

Certain opportunities may require additional commitments, but schedules are designed to accommodate and support the needs of the student's academic program
Regular coordination between a mentor and the student facilitates alignment of the student's task area(s) with his or her academic goals
Qualification
Required
US citizen students
self-starting, motivated, aspiring scientist
exceptional organizational skills
experience with embedded hardware and software development (C/C++)
experience with operating systems (Linux/BSD)
experience with socket programming
experience with signal processing
experience with advanced networking
minimum commitment of 40 hours per month
graduate and undergraduate students eligible to apply
undergraduate candidates should have completed at least 60 credit hours of undergraduate coursework
located at the Mclaurin Aerospace research facility in downtown Knoxville, TN
US Citizenship and the ability to pass a comprehensive security background investigation
