Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Tax Senior Manager with a strong background in ASC 740 provisions to join their growing corporate tax practice in Chicago. This leadership role involves overseeing complex tax provision engagements and corporate compliance, while managing and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
Lead multiple client service teams across various industries, managing tax compliance, consulting, and ASC 740 provision projects
Act as the primary tax contact for clients, managing relationships and providing innovative tax planning strategies
Perform primary and secondary reviews of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements and complex corporate tax returns
Manage engagement economics (realization, utilization, receivables, etc.)
Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients and support business development
Mentor, train, and manage tax staff; participate in performance evaluations and team development
Work closely with internal experts, including the Washington National Tax Office (WNTO), to solve complex tax issues
Attend professional development events and industry networking opportunities
Ensure all work adheres to the highest standards of quality and client confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license (or JD with active law license)
Extensive experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions
Ability and willingness to work on-site at least 2 days per week
5–7+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax
Preferred
Public accounting and/or professional services firm experience
Proficiency in ONESOURCE Tax Provision software
Experience with corporate income tax compliance, state and local taxation, international tax, and transfer pricing
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation or JD/LLM in Taxation preferred
