Senior LevelEngineering Power Solutions Ltd - EPS is seeking a Primary Design Engineer with experience in Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects. The role involves the design and development of high-voltage substations and transmission systems, ensuring safe and technically sound solutions for clients in various sectors.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed primary (physical) designs for substations and transmission systems (typically 11kV to 400kV)
Create and review layout drawings, general arrangements, and equipment plans, including transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, and busbars
Perform technical calculations related to clearances, grounding, and equipment sizing
Coordinate with civil, structural, and secondary (protection & control) teams to ensure integrated design
Support in the preparation of technical specifications, bill of materials, and construction packages
Participate in client meetings, site visits, and provide technical support during construction and commissioning
Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements
Assist in the tendering process and provide engineering input for proposals
Qualification
Required
Experience in Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects
Ability to develop detailed primary (physical) designs for substations and transmission systems (typically 11kV to 400kV)
Experience in creating and reviewing layout drawings, general arrangements, and equipment plans, including transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, and busbars
