Start in 2026 SummerCDM Smith is looking for a Planning Intern to join their team. During this internship, you will assist with data analysis and coding for travel demand modeling projects, working closely with mid-level and senior modelers.

Responsibilities
Assist with data analysis and potential coding for travel demand modeling projects
Check travel demand model output and conduct comparison/validation analysis with existing traffic counts
Develop data to input into travel demand models
Assist with basic traffic data collection, elementary sections of reporting, use of GIS systems, research and other ad-hoc assignments as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors or Master's degree in Planning or a related field
