Alpha Business Solutions is seeking a CAPEX Project Procurement Lead for a large global pharmaceuticals organization. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities for capital projects, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with various stakeholders for successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all CAPEX-related procurement activities in line with approved project procurement plans

Collaborate with project, engineering, finance, and procurement teams to define requirements, priorities, and sourcing strategies

Prepare and execute sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, tenders) using Ariba and other procurement systems

Develop procurement planning and tracking tools; monitor milestones, risks, and supplier performance

Manage competitive bidding, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier award recommendations

Oversee contract preparation, approvals, signing, purchase orders, and supplier confirmations

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, capital processes, EHS, and documentation standards

Track and report savings, KPIs, and procurement progress; provide weekly and monthly reports

Support project close-out activities, supplier performance reviews, final payments, and handover to operations

Required

Strong experience in CAPEX procurement and project-based sourcing

Proven ability to manage complex sourcing events and supplier negotiations

Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) and contract management

Ability to work cross-functionally with global and site stakeholders

Strong reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
