Responsibilities
Collaborate with clinical teams to assess informatics needs and translate them into system requirements
Support the development, testing, and deployment of EHR enhancements and clinical decision support tools
Train and educate healthcare providers on informatics systems and best practices
Monitor data integrity, system performance, and user satisfaction
Analyze clinical workflows and recommend improvements using informatics tools
Serve as a liaison between IT, clinical staff, and administrative departments
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data analytics projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or health IT
Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field
Clinical background (e.g., RN, MD, PharmD)
Certification in Health Informatics (e.g., CAHIMS, CPHIMS)
Deep understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
High level of emotional intelligence and empathy in clinical and cross-functional settings
Strong ability to foster relationships with clinicians, administrators, and technical teams
Agile and flexible mindset to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment
Ability to interpret and apply clinical data to inform system design
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
Knowledge of interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
Change management and stakeholder engagement expertise
