Submarine Technician/ Navy TM (5246)

Ghostrock, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a Submarine Torpedoman's Mate Technician with experience on Vertical Launching Systems to join their team in San Diego, CA. This role supports U.S. Navy Submarines and serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert for Submarine Torpedo systems, overseeing repair activities and providing technical support for various submarine weapon delivery systems.

Responsibilities

Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
Submarine Weapon Delivery Systems
Torpedo Tubes
Vertical Launching System
3" Launcher (Countermeasure) System
Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems
Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
NEC: TM-737B - SSN 688 and 774 Vertical Launch System Operations and Tube Maintenance
6+ years of related experience with 688 Los Angeles-class submarines
Advanced knowledge and proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining associated systems
Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and procedural corrective and repair standards
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to provide technical findings orally and/or written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling tools/equipment
Regular verbal and auditory communication
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to board submarines and naval crafts, navigating passageways and steep ladders
Comfortable working in shipboard and industrial environments
