Responsibilities

Execute Verizon FOA and LTE/5G RAN performance upgrades

Perform KPI monitoring, trend analysis, and failure-mode classification

Conduct field feature testing, validation, and inter-cell interference optimization

Analyze Layer 3 call signaling (RRC/NAS, U-Plane/C-Plane, handover, reselection)

Validate LTE-NR interworking (ENDC) in SA/NSA architectures

Provide actionable recommendations post-software and patch upgrades

Steer cross-functional collaboration across planning, FOPS, network assurance, and Samsung HQ

Support deep-dive customer technical sessions and pre-sales feature articulation

Maintain SLA-safe, zero-impact performance continuity

Required

Strong LTE & 5G call flow mechanics

KPI expertise and interpretation (beyond visualization)

Mobility and handover engineering (inter/intra-RAT)

Proactive troubleshooting using counters and transport indicators

Layer 3 protocol analysis and anomaly isolation

3–5+ years hands-on KPI monitoring in production or field environments

Candidates without practical KPI ownership and signal-level validation will not align to role needs

Wireless Subject Matter Expertise in 4G LTE & 5G NR (SA/NSA)

Proven ownership in feature requirement translation and system design capture

Ability to influence and align stakeholders across carrier and HQ organizations

Experience navigating ambiguity, pivotal platform shifts, and customer technical governance

Strong exposure to Huawei, Cisco, Ciena, Ericsson, Samsung, and Nokia transport and RAN routers

Customer-centric engineering mindset with structured execution governance

Experience driving Verizon-specific FOA, LTE call flows, and EN-DC NSA optimization

Small-cell handover validation under macro-underlay anchors

Multi-vendor router and port-level commissioning assurance
