The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fiscal Management Specialist 2 to support the Department of Human Services in analyzing costs and monitoring reports. The role involves monitoring expenditures, analyzing Program Revision Requests, providing budget support, and leading contract monitors within the Office of Medical Assistance Programs.

Responsibilities

Monitor operating expenditures
Track and analyze Program Revision Requests (PRRs) and cost containments
Provide budget and fiscal support within the Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP)
Develop and maintain budget monitoring tools
Review and approve funds commitments
Prepare monthly reports
Serve as a lead worker to contract monitors within the bureau
Provide direction regarding account code structure
Coordinate activities for OMAP budget meetings
Post pharmacy rebates to appropriate funding areas daily
Maintain timeline grids to monitor and ensure proper implementation of initiatives

Required

One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
