Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Video Producer who is an experienced visual storyteller to produce video content that promotes Johns Hopkins University. This role involves managing video projects, collaborating with production teams, and creating engaging educational content.

Responsibilities

Creates public health video content aimed at domestic and international learners, including short-form, documentary-style videos produced for and regularly published online in Course Plus, Courseara or other CMS/LMS platform

Manages budget and deliverable deadlines associated with individual projects

Collaborates with broader production team to manage multiple video production projects from start to finish, often on tight deadlines

Manages budget and deliverable deadlines associated with individual projects

Manages client consultation, needs assessment and metrics for success, development of concepts, treatments, and storyboards, script writing, field producing, interviewing, and editing of the final product

Performs other related duties as requested

Collaborates with broader production team to manage multiple video production projects from start to finish including filming and editing

Occasional travel for location filming
