Quality Inspector I

Responsibilities
Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, source control drawings, and OEM part verification
Review of supplier documentation and use of basic precision measurement tools to determine part conformity
Conduct First Article Inspections on all detail parts per AS9102
Use of Syteline ERP software system to process all transactions through inspection
Package parts and label prior to being delivered to inventory
Maintain parts on hold area and work with Supply chain to resolve any documentation problems
Scan paperwork for traceability and historical review
Selects articles for tests as specified stages in inspection process and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics
Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures
Work with Engineering support to resolve nonconforming items
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
Qualification
Required

Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask
Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient with ERP/MRP systems
Basic knowledge of alloys and material certifications for product acceptance
Must be proficient using most precision inspection tools to obtain measurements
High school diploma or GED
One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required
