Advanced EHR Support Analyst
NEOGOV is seeking an Advanced EHR Support Analyst to join the Public Health — Seattle & King County's Administrative Services Division. The role involves mentoring Functional Analysts, providing support for complex EHR issues, and managing projects related to system implementation and training.

Responsibilities
Assign, review, and approve work of other Functional Analysts in the section
Perform health application support including complex problem analysis and resolution on the phone, in person, and via email
Consult with Program Leaders from across the Department on workflow optimization and best practice development, both remotely and onsite at various clinics
Perform limited project management, lead and assist with new application implementation, functionality, upgrades, and enhancements
Assign and quality assure new user account builds and offboarding requests to ensure accuracy and timely completion
Work with Division Administrators, King County IT, and other system owners to ensure new users are built appropriately in Epic
Facilitate development of module-specific job aids and update training materials
Assess and coordination of training needs for programs and facilitate employee training
Assist in the development of and monitor quality assurance standards
Prepare system documentation and develop reports
Assign testing for new builds, maintenance/workflow changes, and upgrades
Author and deliver written communication to end users such as alerts for system issues, resolutions, and monthly changes to Epic
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least 6 months of experience as an Electronic Health Record Analyst, demonstrating the ability to perform the job duties above
Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize multiple needs from customer reported issues and vendor communications while recognizing critical issues
Ability to quickly adapt to multiple levels of change and assist programs with change management
Advanced knowledge of security, privacy, access levels, ancillary equipment management, and integrated software
Knowledge of organizational business practices, workflow analysis, business systems design, and process re-engineering
Experience with end-to-end and component testing including interfaces
Ability to prioritize, delegate, assign, check, and approve work assignments
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and collaboration, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and being responsive to requests and concerns
Demonstrated skill in analysis and problem solving, discovering root cause, and producing fully developed quality recommendations to decision makers
Willingness to examine new solutions to any problem
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a wide range of individuals, including customers across the organization and to explain technical concepts in non-technical language
Demonstrated skill at working collaboratively, creating relationships, and building trust and rapport with others
Ability to take initiative to complete necessary tasks, improvements, meet deadlines and accountability for producing timely and high quality work products
Work in a sometimes-high pressure environment while maintaining composure
Preferred
Experience with Epic or OCHIN/Epic
Experience with clinical terminology
Knowledge of clinic and operational workflows and workflow development
Advanced experience working error pools or work queues
Experience in running live daily operational reports and using/developing reporting tools
Experience in system development and testing including both applications and interfaces
Advanced knowledge of computer operations
Experience working in Public Health, particularly clinic operations and/or multiple programs and services in any setting
