Responsibilities

Preparation of actuarial valuations for pension and postretirement medical plans
Review and update of data for actuarial valuations
Reconciliation of annual asset statement data
Preparation of required IRS and PBGC filings and participant notifications
Calculation of benefits for plan participants
Assist with preparation of special studies and actuarial analysis
Analyze, summarize and create graphical representations of large, complex data sets

Qualification

Actuarial scienceMathematicsStatisticsRisk managementData analysis

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

College students that are enrolled in a degree program related to actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, risk management, or other similar subject matter
Preference to those entering senior or junior year of college or enrolled in a post-graduate degree program
