Checking in patients for appointments
Collecting patient co-pays
Answering telephones
Taking accurate messages
Scheduling appointments
Checking insurance eligibility
Utilizing electronic record system to verify and update patient demographic information
Posting and balancing payments collected
Qualification
Required
Previous customer service experience is required
Preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Medical terminology is preferred
Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred
Electronic health record (EHR) experience is a plus
