Engineering Deans Office - Student Scheduling Assistant

The Center for Public Partnerships & Research is seeking a Student Scheduling Assistant for the School of Engineering Dean's Office. The role involves providing scheduling support, maintaining room reservation calendars, and assisting with events and front desk duties.

Responsibilities

Support the Dean’s Office staff in maintaining the room reservation calendars for the School of Engineering
Monitor the Engineering Room Reservations email account, responding to requests, and booking and confirming space requests in a timely and professional manner
Cover the reception desk and help with events

Microsoft OfficeEvent planningRecord maintenanceCustomer serviceConfidential information handlingCommunication skillsProblem-solvingOrganizational skills

Required

Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and especially Outlook
Regular use of discretion in handling confidential information
Reliable and able to work independently
Highly organized, problem-solving skills
Provide a detailed cover letter and resume
Exceptional communication skills as evidenced in application materials

Preferred

Event planning experience as evidenced in application materials
Record maintenance experience as evidenced in application materials
Prior office and customer service experience as evidenced in application materials
