Regional Account Manager- West - D&V International

D&V International is a leading U.S. importer of world renowned Belgian and European beers & ciders, and they are seeking a passionate and driven Regional Account Manager to join their growing sales team. This role is responsible for managing distributor relationships, expanding distribution, and driving sales growth across a large Western territory for iconic brands.

Responsibilities

Maintain and grow relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts, as well as wholesale partners, throughout the region
Achieve sales and distribution goals set by the Director of Sales through strategic planning and in-market execution
Visit existing and prospective accounts to track performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges proactively
Work closely with distributor partners to support programming, promotions, incentives, and market initiatives
Conduct team-sell days with distributor reps and provide staff trainings to strengthen brand knowledge
Organize and participate in samplings, events, and brand activations, including evenings and weekends as needed
Build strong relationships with key retailers and secure enhanced visibility and placement
Develop brand, market, and pricing strategies in coordination with D&V leadership
Forecast seasonal brand execution and track results
Submit timely and accurate sales reports
Make thoughtful, solutions-oriented decisions that support both D&V International and our retail partners
Uphold D&V brand standards and represent our portfolio with professionalism and passion
Travel as required to visit out-of-town markets; average travel is 7–10 days per month, but may occasionally exceed that based on business needs

Required

2+ years of impactful sales experience in the Import/Craft beer or beverage industry
3+ years of experience working with distributors, national accounts, or regional wholesalers
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and results-driven, able to operate successfully with minimal supervision
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Deep knowledge of craft beer, industry trends, and emerging opportunities
Professional and polished in both business and social settings
Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft/Mac OS, and mobile platforms (Android/iOS)
Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Must be 21 years of age or older
Comfortable with regular regional travel and occasional extended trips
