Responsibilities
Design and implement automated data acquisition systems, including large-scale web scraping and API-based collection
Clean, normalize, and analyze complex, unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights
Build and maintain high-accuracy, scalable databases and data pipelines
Develop internal tools and workflows to support competitive intelligence and research efforts
Continuously evaluate and adopt modern data processing, scraping, and automation techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data supports broader company objectives
Qualification
Required
High level achievement in mathematics, physics, or computer science competitions (such as IMO, IOPh, or similar)
Academic background from a top global university, or equivalent demonstrated expertise
Evidence of original technical work (research, open-source projects, technical writing)

Preferred
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability, demonstrated through advanced coursework, competitions, research, or independent projects
Experience working with large or messy datasets and building end-to-end data workflows
Proficiency in data processing and analysis tools, and familiarity with web scraping methodologies
The ability to reason rigorously, communicate clearly, and work independently on open-ended problems
