Responsibilities

Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of automation components

Establishes automation tools, frameworks and methodology

Mentors staff in testing automation processes

Establishes current automation architectures as business and technical conditions change

Supervises the use of appropriate automation methods to employ to ensure developed products conform to requirements and design

Facilitates review of applications for automation needs and requirements/design quality

Provides consultation to projects and application support groups regarding automation design, development and execution

Understands organizational impacts and trade-offs of automation processes

Plays a leadership role in managing resources from alternate development centers
