Responsibilities
Perform minor repairs and basic servicing of equipment as directed
Assist Heavy Equipment Mechanics with repairs and shop tasks
Follow work orders, safety procedures, and company policies
Maintain cleanliness of the shop, equipment, grounds, and parking areas
Receive, ship, and organize parts and materials
Pick up and deliver parts as needed
Wash equipment and maintain organized storage areas, including proper handling of flammable materials
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
Wear company-provided uniforms while conducting company business
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and reliability
Ability and willingness to learn, with potential to advance into a Heavy Truck Mechanic role
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
