Semiconductor Device Engineering Intern

MACOM designs and manufactures semiconductor products for various applications. The Semiconductor Device Engineering Intern will work with experienced engineers in a Class 100 Cleanroom Environment, gaining valuable experience and taking ownership of a business-critical project.

Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
Receive formal, written feedback

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial/systems engineering
Due to ITAR regulations, proof of U.S. citizenship is required
Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills – oral, written, and presentation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective and timely decision-making
Strong/Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
Strong data analysis skills and data visualization experience
Adept in SQL querying and scripting

Preferred

Experience with process mapping, facility layout planning (AutoCAD)
Experience with performing time studies or projects involving capacity analysis
Lean/Six Sigma certifications and/or project experience
Understanding of semiconductor process flow, structure, and functions
Experience in a manufacturing environment
