Red Alpha is seeking a talented Principal Software Engineer to help design, build, and optimize software solutions that solve complex data challenges. In this role, you’ll work on developing scalable applications, streamlining data processing, and applying advanced techniques to extract and standardize information.

Required

20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
A Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph level of security clearance
Proficiency with Java programming with experience in developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications
Writing and optimizing Regular Expressions (Regex) for data validation, text parsing, and pattern matching
Entity extraction and data normalization to standardize unstructured or semi-structured information

Preferred

Strong knowledge of Maryland Customer corporate processing systems and corporate normalization tools
Experience with GHOSTMACHINE and associated schema structures
Familiarity with language processing techniques for text analysis and information extraction
