Support the future growth of the WAS business
Enable WAS Tech to achieve consistent, predictable, high-quality delivery by implementing engineering best practices
Contributing to automation frameworks
Mentoring junior team members in software development and testing methodologies
Own feature development from design through deployment
Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive business value in our dynamic, fast-paced environment
Supporting key stakeholders across the WAS organization
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of professional software development experience
2+ years of Angular (versions 12+)
Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
Experience with RxJS and reactive programming patterns
Understanding of state management (NgRx preferred)
Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Knowledge of Java/.NET development
Comprehensive testing experience (unit, integration, e2e)
Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
Code review and quality assurance practices
Technical documentation and communication skills
SQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle)
Cloud platform deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
Preferred
Master's degree in computer science or related field
Financial Services or Wealth Management industry experience
Test-driven development (TDD) practices
Spring Boot microservices development experience
RESTful API design and implementation
JPA/Hibernate for database operations
Maven or Gradle build management
Microservices architecture and design patterns
Performance monitoring and application troubleshooting
Feature flag management and A/B testing frameworks
AI tools like Copilot and understanding of AI prompts
Security best practices and implementation
