Administrative Assistant (Austin)

They are seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant IV to perform advanced administrative support work, coordinating various office duties and managing schedules while ensuring effective communication of agency programs and procedures.

Responsibilities
Coordinate preparing, editing/proofing, and distributing correspondence, reports, studies, forms, presentations, and documents
Coordinate and perform general office duties such as maintaining digital and physical documents, answering and routing phone calls and emails, and ordering and maintaining office supplies and other purchasing tasks
Coordinate, plan and help execute meetings, conferences, webinars, and seminars, and prepare related materials
Explain and disseminates information concerning agency programs and procedures
Compile and edits data for charts, graphs, and databases and prepare summaries or reports
Manage and maintain schedules, travel arrangements, and reimbursement
Help develop and revise processes and procedures manuals
Guide others as needed
Work well in a team and be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and contribute to the mission and objectives of the department, division, and TWC
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three years of full-time experience that provided knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records and reports
Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
Know office practices, purchasing, and administrative procedures
Able to implement administrative procedures, interpret rules, regulations, policies, and practices, and communicate effectively
Able to exercise sound judgment and communicate effectively
Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and software, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite
Able to provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally
Preferred
Project and event management experience
Experience with presentation preparation
Creating a variety of charts and graphs
