Responsibilities

Use an automated multi-line telephone system for in-bound calls from the public requesting program related information
Transfer callers to appropriate departmental personnel or takes messages
Refer callers to other agencies as appropriate
Organize and sort documents and information for accuracy and completeness prior to data entry
Enter data and/or scan information into an automated system from various source documents using a personal computer (PC) and/or scanner. -Verify keyed information and corrects if necessary
Retrieve information retained in mainframe/personal computers
Access automated system to determine status and location of claims
Associate documents with existing files and retrieves requested files
Receive, send, and sort faxes and mail for distribution to other units and performs other clerical tasks as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

One year of full-time experience that provided knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures, or clerical administration and business management practices, such as preparation, maintenance and control of forms, records and reports
Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position

Preferred

Bilingual; Spanish/English
Knowledge of TWC mainframe
Call center experience
Knowledge of Windows-based PC programs, including email and spreadsheet
