Responsibilities
Research and develop alpha signals, features, and predictive models to improve live trading strategies
Run experiments and evaluate model performance using disciplined statistical methods
Work closely with other researchers and engineers to review research, challenge assumptions, and raise the quality bar
Improve the research workflow and tooling to accelerate iteration and increase research throughput
Contribute to strategy discussions and help shape how the team prioritises opportunities across markets and horizons
Qualification
Required
Quantitative research experience on a successful futures and/or equities trading team
Demonstrated track record of generating profitable ideas, signals, or strategies
Strong mathematical and statistical foundation, with sound judgement around inference and overfitting
Experience working with computationally intensive research environments and large datasets
Degree (BS/MS/PhD) in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., math, physics, CS, engineering, stats)
Strong programming ability in Python and/or C++/C/Java, with the ability to write research code that can scale
Highly collaborative working style - able to communicate clearly, incorporate feedback and work effectively across disciplines
Self-directed and proactive: you identify opportunities, push ideas forward, and take ownership of outcomes
