They are seeking a Sr Accountant, Income Tax to review and file federal, state, and local income tax returns, supervise entry-level staff, and assist with tax account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Review federal, state and local income tax returns with a focus on flow-through taxation (i.e., S Corporations, Partnerships)

Prepare responses to notices and audit information requests from various federal, state and local authorities

Supervise and train entry-level staff

Assist accounting department with tax account reconciliations

Act as the lead on other accounting projects

Research and analyze technical tax issues

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to conduct tax research utilizing appropriate resources

Preferred

Master's degree in accounting or taxation preferred

Minimum three year's experience in public accounting or corporate/ public accounting preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or pursuit of CPA preferred

Partnership multi-state, multi-entity experience preferred
