They are seeking a founding Brand & Content Lead to define the company's voice and narrative, translate it into engaging content across various platforms, and build a strong brand presence.

Responsibilities
Define and establish Highlight's brand voice, positioning, and narrative across all customer touchpoints
Create compelling narratives and campaigns for product launches and company milestones
Own and execute content strategy across social, short-form video, blog, newsletters, product updates, and landing pages
Lead our LinkedIn presence (company + exec amplification), publishing thoughtful posts and POVs that build credibility with our audience
Build creator-led growth from zero, and manage relationships with influencers to amplify our story
Develop and maintain a consistent content cadence that grows audience and engagement, by setting up the right playbook and standing up a creative pod to execute
Collaborate across the company to ensure brand consistency across all external communications
Qualification
Required
5+ years in content/brand/storytelling roles (startup or high-velocity tech environment)
A portfolio of writing (founder posts, brand POV, product storytelling, campaigns) you're proud of
Proven ability to build a brand voice and make it consistent across channels
Strong instincts for distribution on social and content platforms: you understand what performs and why, you have a nose for compelling vs. cringe
Experience running launches or integrated campaigns end-to-end
Ability to translate technical/product nuance into simple, credible messaging
Ownership mentality (no task is too small for you) – it's all hands on deck here and we need everyone rowing the boat
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset – we're extremely lean so we're looking for a team player who works well with others
Type-A tendencies: maybe you're extremely detail-oriented. Or maybe you take pride in shipping high-quality products. Whatever it is you do, you give it your all
Must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC or SF – although we're flexible with days off & schedules, we have a 100% in-office culture during the week
