Responsibilities

Overall technical execution and technical excellence of the program

Overall safety of all C-17 Trainer products

Oversight and final authority on specification, configuration, design, and certification/validation of the product

Provide senior technical leadership for the program and associated program proposals and be the senior technical interface to customers and suppliers

Collaborate with the technical leadership team consisting of Chief Engineers, System Architects and Product Managers

Play an integral role in the development of the Statement of Work (SOW) and estimates to meet the requirements of our customers

Establish a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management and rapid issue resolution, providing alternative paths for issue resolution and driving dialogue on technical issues

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

9+ years of experience in engineering

3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

Experience developing and tracking program plans/schedules and budgets for technical projects
