Chenega Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter I to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and hiring top talent, working closely with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Recruit proactively, aggressively, and compliantly to fill all positions with qualified candidates promptly to ensure operational goals are met
Source, recruit, pre-screen, and interview candidates for technical and non-technical positions. Positions may require government clearances and certifications
Implement a proactive recruitment strategy to achieve varying staffing requirements for current positions and future business
Support multiple types of openings including fully funded and bid & proposal, or indirect
Identify and use creative sourcing techniques for locating candidates
Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS)
Communicate with hiring managers to clarify specific hiring needs
Work with Sr. Recruiting Manager to determine short-term and long-term priorities
Create and post SkillBridge internship opportunities on company career sites, LinkedIn, and military job boards
Build and maintain relationships with military transition offices
Represent the company at military career fairs and transition assistance events
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies

Required

Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of related recruiting experience, preferably in a government contract environment. Experience may be substituted for formal education
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities for various internal and external customers
Demonstrated experience with sourcing strategies that address both short-term and long-term hiring needs
Ability to effectively communicate
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines

Preferred

Prior military experience highly desired
