Responsibilities
Working with colleagues and vendors to ensure ongoing stability of the global infrastructure both across on-prem and cloud hosted environments
Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in cloud performance tuning, infrastructure design and monitoring
Support the Infrastructure team in execution of daily operations including service delivery reviews, service monitoring, ticket management, Service Now updates and management
Work with colleagues and partners in execution of Global Infrastructure projects
Support standardization of Global Infrastructure environment
Improve and optimize deployed applications together with Business Process Owner
Identify emerging technologies and channel related information into our organization
Execute technology successfully by minimal downtime as well as disruption
Develop solution roadmaps, for innovation developed solutions, based on customer requirements
Help to protect the enterprise by ensuring the IT solutions conform to all legal, governance and security requirements
Qualification
Required
Experience of managing Azure based infrastructure including automation of deployment, upgrades/patching, sizing and Paas
At least 2 years working experience in the IT infrastructure area, server supporting or cloud supporting
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server lifecycle management
Strong knowledge of container hosting solutions including Kubernetes/AKS/ACS
Good knowledge of automation tools, scripting languages and configuration management tools
Good knowledge of hypervisor solutions
Ability to incorporate new technology into current and future business applications
Good communication, customer oriented, good team player
Preferred
Experience of DevOps automation tools; Ansible, Terraform and Azure DevOps
