Planning and Production Control Analyst

Responsibilities

Support Program, Integrated Planning Lead (IPL), and Material Program Manager (MPM) on material procurement plans
Review, analyze and release purchase requisitions to Supply Chain in PRISM per MRP or MPM PO placement plans, as applicable
Evaluate material availability, identifying potential gaps and proactively working supplied material problems
Facilitate cross functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and coordinate some Logistics
Participates and lead continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with other departments

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum two (2) years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience with either Supply Chain, Production Control, Logistics, or Operations
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Experience with Government and Depot type processes
Critical thinking and data analysis skills to ensure detailed status provided to the Program, Operations and Supply Chain teams
Ability to contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Has good time management skills and knows how to stay organized
