Responsibilities

Creating systems and services for ingesting, processing, and visualizing vast amounts of satellite telemetry data
Building real-time monitoring systems to identify anomalies, detect emerging trends, and proactively alert stakeholders to critical situations that require intervention
Ensuring extremely high reliability, uptime, and performance across systems that receive and manage telemetry streams from thousands of endpoint
Develop software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements
Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Amazon Leo
Help on-board new team members
Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
