Responsibilities
Own data architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform (OLTP + analytics)
Lead modernization from monolithic → modular → microservices
Architect at 5TB+ scale using Azure SQL, Databricks/Delta Lake, ADLS, Synapse/Fabric
Build robust, auditable ERP/SAP data integrations
Define data SLOs tied to customer SLAs (latency, freshness, correctness)
Establish observability, lineage, and incident playbooks
Grow and lead a DBA / Data Engineering function over time
Play a key role in the company’s move toward AI-driven / agentic systems
Qualification
Required
Senior-level Data Architect experience in B2B SaaS or large-scale platforms
Proven experience at multi-terabyte scale (this is critical)
Deep Azure data stack expertise
Strong architecture mindset (not just operational DBA work)
Comfortable owning long-term (12–24 month) transformation projects
