Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing special processes, including mechanical cleaning and welding
Conduct metallography evaluations and prepare reports for production and/or new product introduction
Create and maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, and process instructions to ensure process control, stability, and conformance
Drive improvements that lead to cost reduction, productivity enhancements, and product quality improvements
Support repair industrializations aligned with repair readiness levels, including tooling, planning, and equipment
Investigate, develop, and apply new technologies to manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other manufacturing engineers to deliver results and drive innovation

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing / process improvement engineering experience (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing)
Ability to support off-shifts and weekends as needed

Preferred

Aerospace manufacturing experience
Strong material science background
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
