Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pediatrics (Neonatology)
The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Neonatologist to join the Department of Pediatrics. This full-time position involves providing clinical care in a busy academic comprehensive care NICU and offers ample teaching opportunities for resident trainees and fellows.

Responsibilities
Proven acute and ongoing consultative care to neonatal children with problems in the hospital and outpatient setting
Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs of the Department of Pediatrics
Participate in collaborative research and scholarly quality improvement activities within the Neonatology Division and Pediatrics Department
Perform other duties of a University faculty member, including committee assignments, curriculum development, student counseling, and mentoring
Qualification
Required
MD/DO or equivalent degree
3 years residency and 3 years neonatal-perinatal in an ACGME-accredited fellowship
Board certification in Pediatrics is required
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatology
Eligible for licensure in Illinois
Enthusiasm to provide clinical care and teaching in an academic setting
