Responsibilities
Design comprehensive cloud infrastructure strategies and migration roadmaps for enterprise clients
Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective platform solutions using Azure services and Databricks
Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments
Design containerization strategies, implement Kubernetes clusters, and establish container security and governance policies
Design secure network topologies, implement connectivity solutions, and ensure optimal performance and compliance
Build sophisticated GitHub Actions workflows and Azure DevOps pipelines supporting complex deployment scenarios
Implement advanced deployment strategies including blue-green, canary, and rolling deployments
Design and maintain development, staging, and production environment provisioning and management
Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checking into CI/CD pipelines
Implement comprehensive observability solutions with metrics, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting
Design and implement enterprise SSO solutions, integrating with existing identity providers and ensuring seamless user experiences
Implement security-first practices including automated vulnerability scanning, compliance monitoring, and incident response
Design role-based access control systems, implement least-privilege principles, and maintain security audit trails
Build automated compliance checking and reporting systems for various regulatory frameworks
Implement enterprise-grade secrets management and automated certificate lifecycle management
Serve as the primary technical advisor for DevOps and infrastructure decisions across client engagements
Guide and mentor client teams on DevOps best practices, cloud-native development, and platform engineering
Create comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and establish engineering standards and best practices
Design and deliver training programs on Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and practices that can benefit client infrastructure and operations
Administer Databricks platforms including workspace management, cluster optimization, cost management, and integration with data sources
Implement cloud cost management strategies, resource optimization, and financial governance practices
Design and implement auto-scaling solutions, capacity planning, and resource management strategies
Implement comprehensive backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
Evaluate, integrate, and manage third-party tools and services that enhance platform capabilities
Qualification
Required
8+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure experience with 4+ years in senior consulting or lead roles
Azure Cloud Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Azure services including App Services, Container Instances, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Virtual Networks
Databricks Platform Administration: Hands-on experience managing Databricks workspaces, clusters, security, networking, and integration with Azure services
Infrastructure as Code: Advanced proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale
Container Orchestration: Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and container security best practices
CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows, Azure Pipelines, and multi-stage deployment strategies
Single Sign-On (SSO): Expertise in implementing and managing SSO solutions using Azure Active Directory, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
Identity & Access Management: Experience with Azure AD, Conditional Access policies, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and role-based access control (RBAC)
Security Compliance: Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, network security groups, Azure Security Center, and vulnerability management
Secrets Management: Proficiency with Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, and secrets rotation strategies
Certificate Management: Experience with SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management and automated certificate provisioning
Infrastructure Provisioning: Advanced experience with Terraform modules, state management, and infrastructure drift detection
Configuration Management: Expertise in Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for system configuration and compliance
Monitoring & Observability: Implementation of comprehensive monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana
Scripting & Automation: Advanced PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting for automation and infrastructure management
GitOps Practices: Experience with Git-based workflows for infrastructure and application deployment
Kubernetes Administration: Production-level experience with AKS, cluster management, networking, storage, and security policies
Service Mesh: Understanding of Istio, Linkerd, or similar service mesh technologies
API Gateway Management: Experience with Azure API Management, Kong, or similar API gateway solutions
Database Administration: Experience with Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and database automation
Networking: Deep understanding of virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity
