The Power Scholars Academy Assistant Teacher will support students' academic and social development by collaborating with credentialed teachers and facilitating classroom activities in a summer program aimed at preventing learning loss.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and community-building activities

Support the academic and social development of students by implementing effective instructional strategies

Assist teachers in identifying student needs and adapting instructional practices accordingly

Support classroom instruction, enrichment activities, and field trips

Act as a positive role model for students

Monitor student progress and recommend adjustments as needed

Communicate with families to ensure they have the resources needed for student success

Maintain accurate records, including attendance and communication logs

Assist with the distribution of materials and resources for students and families
