Responsibilities

Manages various phases of litigation for assigned cases

All phases of discovery

Appears before state and federal courts

Performs legal research

Drafts pleadings, motions and briefs

Conducts depositions

Develops facts

Makes legal arguments

Reports case updates to managing attorney and clients in defense of our clients

Develop strategies for litigated matters, including commercial, regulatory, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, personal injury, construction defect, professional liability, and insurance-coverage matters

Required

3+ years of experience in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability defense, and/or construction defect litigation

Bar license in state of North Carolina
