Responsibilities
Individual who is self motivated and could work independently in solving moderately complex cross-functional business needs
Collaborates with internal and cross-functional teams to ensure that the project needs are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solutions; evaluates project deliverables to ensure they meet specifications, functional and performance standards
Works collaboratively with the software development team in brainstorming and solutioning strategies that contributes to the overall team's productivity
Coordinates, executes, and participates in oncall rotation, systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify application errors and to ensure quality software deployment with zero downtime for the application
Should have a good understanding of the industry standards, tools, security and development practices and as well adheres to them consistently. Has solid grasp of software design patterns and approaches; understands application level software architecture; makes technical trade-off decisions at application level
Automates and simplifies team development, test, and operational processes; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve pipeline reliability and system performance
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT practices
Document systems, workflows, and data lineage comprehensively
Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in software development or a related field
4 years of experience in any of following competencies: frontend technologies (user interface/user experience), middleware (microservices and application programming interfaces), database technologies, or DevOps
4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
Preferred
4 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software environment, developing and implementing business systems within an organization, and working with source code control systems
4 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, defect or incident tracking software, web services, and application and integration middleware
4 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions
4 years of experience working with three or more of the following: Continuous integration/continuous deployment tools, frontend technologies, middleware, database technologies, and/or DevOps
Master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
