The Bionetics Corporation is seeking a Metrology Technician specializing in Optics. The technician will provide calibration and repair services on equipment in the Optics Measurement area, applying advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and using complex test instruments and control equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintains, repairs, and calibrates Force Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)

Performs general maintenance and overhaul procedures; uses TMDE to troubleshoot and repair equipment

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Associate's Degree, or related equivalent experience

Minimum equivalent experience is three (3) years' experience in metrology and repair of TMDE

Good working knowledge of calibration and maintenance of Optics primary measurements standards

Possesses the knowledge required to read and understand schematic and wiring drawings

Thorough understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and USAF T.O. 00-20-14

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to qualify for or have successfully completed a National Agency Check Investigation within the last ten (10) years

Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Windows based operating systems, and general internet navigation and usage required
