Business Development & Key Account Manager

Huber Corporation is one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, and they are seeking a Business Development & Key Account Manager to drive strategic growth for Huber AgroSolutions across North America. This role focuses on expanding new business opportunities and deepening relationships with key distributor accounts, serving as the primary commercial interface for high-value customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute annual key account strategies aligned with the North America commercial plan
Manage day‑to‑day customer needs, ensuring exceptional service, proactive communication, and alignment between customer requirements and HAS priorities
Identify and pursue new market opportunities through product expansion, pricing strategies, and strategic partnerships
Deeply understand customer businesses and market dynamics to create value‑driven, tailored propositions that shift accounts from commodity buying to long‑term strategic partnership
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies; translate insights into growth opportunities
Represent HAS at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Maintain accurate CRM records, competitive intelligence, and documented sales activities
Lead or support special projects to advance HAS’s commercial strategy

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field required
10+ years of experience in fertilizers, adjuvants, crop protection, or related agricultural markets
Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and ability to analyze data for account planning
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high‑stakes priorities, think strategically, and execute with precision
Strong business acumen and understanding of financial impacts of commercial decisions
Ability to travel 40–50% across North America
