This role is critical to maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of data center operations, requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Ensure continuous data center operations to meet service level requirements
Perform hardware and network diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
Conduct root cause analysis for hardware and software failures
Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Provide technical support and training to internal teams
Create and maintain scripts for server and network hardware updates
Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of equipment
Assemble, install, and configure data center equipment
Perform maintenance on test and tools equipment
Travel occasionally to other data center locations as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of data center experience, including rack and stack operations
Strong knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
Experience with computer networking and related protocols
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
Familiarity with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
Understanding of cabling standards and best practices
Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
Preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
