Senior ServiceNow Portal Developer
Nuvitek is a company focused on delivering innovative solutions and services. As a Senior ServiceNow Portal Developer, you will collaborate with a team to modernize applications and enhance the ServiceNow practice area, while also mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
Develop mobile and web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 based on site maps, wireframes, and visual designs
Create custom components and workspace experiences to improve the experience of agents and fulfillers
Lead design review and client requirements sessions to ensure the final product meets the client's expectations
Work collaboratively with project managers and other developers to understand, estimate, prioritize, and implement requests for development and maintenance
Code, debug, document, deploy, and maintain our products and software efficiently and effectively
Must have experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related discipline experience
3+ year's experience with ServiceNow Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap, Authentication)
4+ year's experience with ServiceNow Application Development (Scoped Applications)
A strong grasp of building user interfaces that are both performant and scalable, even with large amounts of data
A keen eye for design aesthetics, and a commitment to engineering excellence
Hands on experience in Java or any object-oriented language and SQL programming
Able to communicate (verbal and written) clearly and concisely, tailoring the communication appropriately to the intended audience
ServiceNow Certifications CAD, CSA, ServiceNow Portal Fundamentals, ServiceNow Portal Advanced
US Citizen with the ability to attain public trust clearance
Preferred
Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Experience in handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action; experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and organizational and time management skills
Experience across the Software Delivery Life Cycle working to understand Business Requirements, Design Solutions, Build and Test Capabilities, Train Users, and Deploy Solutions
Experience working with the U.S. Federal Government and its agencies
Remote possible, but hybrid role preferred
