Learning & Development Administrator
All For Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to child and family well-being in Los Angeles. The Learning and Development Administrator will lead onboarding processes, champion clinical excellence through training, and ensure compliance within behavioral health staff.

Responsibilities
Make onboarding unforgettable. Lead New Hire Orientation-from designing training and post-training surveys to evaluating outcomes-so teams launch with confidence and compliance
Champion clinical excellence. Create and deliver ongoing trainings for behavioral health staff around quality, documentation, and compliance; partner with stakeholders to spot audit trends and close gaps fast
Own the training roadmap. Produce and oversee the annual Training Plan/Schedule for Orientation, CANS, Cultural Competency, and EBPs (MAP, TF-CBT, IPT, CPP)
Elevate Evidence-Based Practice. Teach the 'why' behind EBPs and introduce new hires to each model; manage EBP Training & Supervision Tracking (Relias upload included)
Be the credentialing compass. Coordinate provider registration/credentialing for new staff; verify EBP trainings and submit documentation to DMH for timely reimbursement (including NAPPA entries)
Turn data into action. Maintain a training database, generate quarterly compliance reports, and share insights with the Sr. Director of Learning & Development and key partners
Listen, learn, iterate. Build surveys to assess training impact (including clinical case reviews) and translate findings into clear improvements
Lead regulatory readiness. Co-lead the implementation of new Federal/State/County policies; update guidelines and Quality Improvement Bulletins that keep teams current
Support specialized services. Provide targeted trainings and written guidance for MAT, TBS, Day Treatment, WRAP, and other programs
Codify the 'how.' Maintain-and refresh-a practical Quality Assurance Manual that helps staff do their best work every day
Cultivate a learning culture. Implement structured case presentations to elevate clinical thinking and outcomes
Model ABIDE + TIROC. Infuse Access, Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity and Trauma-Informed, Resilience-Oriented practices across programming-because people thrive when they feel safe and seen
Qualification
Required
5+ years in a mental health setting (youth & families preferred) with deep knowledge of quality improvement, documentation standards, and DMH regulatory requirements (Medi-Cal/Short-Doyle/EPSDT)
Master's in Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy, or doctorate in psychology; active California license (MFT, LCSW, or Psychologist)
Curriculum design, facilitation, and presentation experience; ability to build policies and procedures that reflect best practices and regulatory mandates
DMH and BBS standards; medical necessity under Medicaid; ability to read, interpret, and operationalize manuals, bulletins, and policies
Exceptional communication, collaboration, crisis management, organization, and a meticulous eye for detail; strong MS Office (Word, Excel) skills; transform complex info into clear reports
