Manager, Business Development
ST Engineering Geo+Insights & Satellite Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients. The role requires strategic thinking and excellent communication skills to manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.

Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and increase market share
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals
Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience with a degree in any Engineering field, Marketing or Business Development with working experience, preferably on the sales and business development experience
Strong command of English and able to engage stakeholders at all levels, including customers and principals
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
Independent, self-motivated and able to work with a team
Adaptability and eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies
Demonstrated leadership skills to collaborate and inspire a diverse team while aligning efforts with strategic business objectives
Preferred
Prior military experience (Ex SAF personnel) is considered a strong advantage, providing valuable insights into Defence-related markets and clients
A keen interest in Defence technologies, products, and solutions, coupled with an understanding of industry dynamics
