Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to drive the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) standard server memory technologies like DDR5 RDIMMs, MRDIMMs etc, as needed by various processor based server systems, at key memory suppliers
Navigate the supply chain of Server Memory modules used in Data Centers
Maintain a level of industry and technology expertise as well as supplier and market conditions
Understand semiconductor structures and be conversant with developing models and develop and execute sourcing and pricing strategies for server memory
Manage supplier relationships and performance in technology alignment, cost, quality, and delivery, agreements, and implement supply chain improvements

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing technology, category or commodity management, contract negotiation and supplier development

Preferred

MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field
10 years of commodity management or supply chain management experience in the data center/mission critical industry
Knowledge of the supply base for DRAM (dynamic random access memory)
Knowledge of various DRAM (dynamic random access memory) technologies
