Responsibilities
Responsible for creating programs and making edits as needed utilizing CAD/CAM software
Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and selecting appropriate tooling
Ensure CNC machines operate within specified tolerances and quality standards
Monitor machine operations, adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications
Verification of CNC machined parts; inspect tool geometry using various measuring tools
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous CNC experience required, including mills & lathes
Familiarity with SolidWorks/ CAD/CAM software
Strong shop math skills, (standard & metric)
Ability to read blueprints along with mathematical inclination
Preferred
Experience working with tight tolerance parts a plus
